This juicy NY strip steak is marinated in citrus, garlic, tamari, and jalapeño, then seared in buttery macadamia oil for a rich, tender bite. Steakhouse-worthy, without the fuss.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Jindilli Farms Cold-Pressed Macadamia Oil
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup tamari soy sauce
- 12 oz NY strip steak
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped and deseeded
- 6 garlic cloves, mashed
- Salt, pepper, and sweet paprika to taste
Directions
- Place the steak in a large, flat pan.

- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steak.
- Lightly drizzle another ¼ cup of macadamia oil over the steak while it cooks.
- Cook undisturbed for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove from the skillet and let the steak rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate.
